Who Am I?

My name is Eric Bowie and I’m a professional voice over talent, but I’m much more than just that.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, which is where I still reside to today. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in 1994 and spent 7 years as a middle school teacher and boy’s middle and high school basketball coach.

Since the early 2000’s I have worked full time for the U.S. Federal Government and for the last 14 years, I have been a contract manager for several different federal agencies.

How I got started in voice overs

One day, about 13 years ago at my church, I was asked to read the weekly announcements, and I enjoyed it. I was the “voice of the church” for many years. In 2018, I decided that since I loved performing with my voice so much, I’d try to freelance and do some work on my own.

Now, here I am as a professional voice over talent and the rest is history!

Although my children are grown, my wife and I have 6 grandchildren that keep us busy. I value living a super healthy lifestyle that includes daily walks, regular exercise, and super healthy and clean eating.
